Breaking Newsroom announcement!
Mediamine’s latest service upgrade, Newsroom, is a user-friendly way for you to create and distribute reports to key stakeholders or groups, be it the CEO, directors, members or clients – the flexibility is in your hands.
Newsroom is a supplementary tool for monitoring clients, giving them the ability to create reports from Mediamine’s monitored datasets to meet the specific needs of their audience.
It’s also the access point for clients looking to search Mediamine’s indexed news database, which dates back to mid-2012.
By design, Newsroom is a functional tool, we’ve held back on the frills to ensure we get the core elements right. At the heart of its development is the goal of giving Mediamine clients flexibility with their data, be it at their desk or on their smartphone.
Any item can be sent to any person and any report can be exported to Excel for further analysis.
Three levels of functionality:
Basic; is included with all Mediamine monitoring packages and allows users to save contacts, review and send reports and create Custom Category reports.
Standard; provides access to Custom Reports, which allow users to search back through all of their monitored reports, by date range, for specific keyword matches or publishing sources.
Premium; gives access to Mediamine’s indexed news database for users who want to search for items not in their monitoring profile.
Enough of the sales spiel! Below is a general overview of Newsroom’s functionality. Going forward we’ll add more and would love your feedback to help guide us. Obviously, we have our own vision but input from our clients will help us prioritise our development effort.
The nuts and bolts
Organisations (Clients) can have multiple users, each with their own login and ability to create unique reports. Where applicable, organisations, and users, can also access more than one report profile.
Contacts can be easily saved, making distributing reports quick and efficient and reports can be emailed directly from Newsroom or exported in various formats including: PDF, XML, CSV, HTML and XLS (Excel).
Newsroom’s main functions:
• Review Reports – Allow users to select and distribute items from a monitored report.
• Custom Reports – Let users search items across in a date range with filter options that include: monitored keywords and news sources.
• Custom Category Reports – Let users re-organise items under new editable category labels.
• Retrospective Reports – These are created from a search of our historical indexed news database, as far back as mid-2012.
Newsroom adds value!
In today’s competitive and, at times, uncertain business environment, good business intelligence is more important than ever. Newsroom puts Mediamine’s database at your fingertips, enabling you to stay abreast of the news and keep those that should know in the loop.
